Overburden (OB) Management & Crusher Operation Project
At a large mining site, the challenge was to efficiently remove overburden material and maintain steady crusher operations to feed the manufacturing line
At a large mining site, the primary challenge was to efficiently remove overburden material while maintaining steady crusher operations to ensure a consistent feed to the manufacturing line.
Project Objectives
- Clear overburden layers for continued mineral access
- Maintain crusher efficiency to ensure steady material flow
- Minimize environmental and operational risks
Scope of Work
- Excavation and disposal of overburden material
- Operation and monitoring of on-site crusher plants
- Material grading to meet required specifications
- Coordination between overburden removal and crushing teams
Execution
We carry out overburden removal work of approximately 150,000 MT per month using high-capacity earthmoving equipment.
A dedicated crusher operations team ensures uninterrupted plant performance. Preventive and continuous maintenance schedules are followed to keep all equipment in peak working condition.
Results
- Maintained steady material output for the manufacturing process
- Improved crusher throughput by 10%
- Extended equipment life through proactive maintenance practices
Key Achievements
✔ Reduced downtime in material processing
✔ Ensured strict compliance with safety and environmental norms
✔ Optimized crusher efficiency for higher overall productivity
